Microsoft Edge is Microsoft's upcoming web browser (previously known as Project Spartan). The browser includes some new things, including improved F12 developer tools, a new Reading Mode, Cortana integration. Edge will also include a brand-new New Tab page.
Edge will be the company’s new browser and represent a break from the past and Internet Explorer’s legacy. Edge will also be very secure. The new browser will use some familiar technologies such as SmartScreen, Certificate Reputation checking and, obviously, the HTTPS lock symbol and EV Cert green bar. Edge will also have some new capabilities as well, it will offer all the extra protection that comes with HTTP2 plus the latest TLS standard.
Edge will also integrate with some of Windows 10’s advanced security capabilities. Authenticating online considerably more secure with support for Windows Passport, which makes typing your password online obsolete. Edge HTML rendering engine as well as all of its threads will run in an app container sandbox.
Edge is more powerful, lighter, better designed and more secure, than Internet Explorer or anything the company has shipped before. Microsoft Edge will be apart of Windows 10. When released upgrade Windows and give it a try.
