Periscope and Meerkat, What's the difference?

Periscope and Meerkat are both livestreaming video apps which link to a user's Twitter account to broadcast and watch video.  Both are currently only available for iOS and Android users, but video can be watched from your smartphone or desktop . Viewers can comment on the video they're watching.
Meerkat also allows you to schedule broadcasts for a later date, but if no one you follow is currently streaming, the app appears somewhat blank. You can
automatically tweet a link to your video once you've started a livestream. Meerkat users are given the option to save streams to their phones, although they cannot browse a collated list of recent broadcasts.
Periscope lists everyone you're following on Twitter under its People tab.
There is a most loved list of the users who have been sent the most hearts during their livestreams. Periscope gives larger database of user videos to tap into.
Periscope saves your broadcasts, no matter how brief, for 24 hours. Periscope offers more features and a much wider selection of streams.
Periscope or Meerkat, there you have it.
Information on both so you can make you decision based on the about. They are both very good but my choice is Periscope, what is yours?
