Samsung SSD T1

  The Samsung SSD T1 is a very small external drive that offers high-speed performance. It has read-write speeds of up to 450 MB/s over USB 3.0. It also features AES 256 bit encryption to secure your data.
  Samsung's SSD T1 is available in 250GB, 500GB, and 1TB capacities. Samsung Portable SSD T1 is tiny yet super-fast. The drive has up to 1TB of storage space, supports data encryption and works with both Mac and Windows.
    Out of the box, the T1 appears to the host computer as a small FAT32 partition that contains the Samsung Portable SSD setup software. The application walks you through the steps to set up the drive, including naming it and, optionally, picking a password to protect its content. The software will then reformat the drive into a new full-capacity partition that uses an applicable file system -- NTFS or HFS+, respectively. 
    The drive is expensive and has only a three-year warranty. The Samsung Portable SSD T1 is what any portable drive should be.
